An Indian and an Irishman Walk Into a Bar at the @Space Gallery; Santa Ana, CA, April of 2008. The work was inspired by the writings of Tom Marioni in Beer, Art, and Philosophy: The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends Is the Highest Form of Art
It is based on a NEA grant given to Tom Marioni in the 70s. His installation of this was realized at the San Francisco Modern Art: http://www.sfmoma.org/multimed
Do we talk about art (i.e., “socialize”), creating ideas for art - or is it the creation of that idea where we take the discussion and turn it into the actualization of the object itself? .
